Polish Tourism Organisation

The Polish Tourism Organisation (PTO) is a government agency chartered with promoting Poland as modern attractive country, offering tourists a high standard of services. We carry out work focused on the promotion and development of Polish tourism both at home and abroad.

Our goal is to create awareness and then educate, encourage, and assist tourists who are interested in travelling to Poland, a modern country offering a high standard of services and unique experiences.

The Polish Tourism Organisation has offices in 16 countries all over the world (Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Israel, Hungary, the United Kingdom, and USA).  We also conduct our activities at other markets, altogether covering over 25.

PTO is a major source and supplier of travel-related information on the country. PTO further strengthens the identity and enhances the image of Poland by participating in major travel trade events, organizing familiarization, and press trips as well as interacting with individual travelers interested in visiting Poland. We implement and carry out strategies as well as create promotional campaigns and social media events tailored specifically to the needs and expectations of our particular market area.

Increasing the completeness of Poland as a destination is based on research and knowledge exchange. Thus the organization is an active member of international organisations.

Poland Convention Bureau was established in and since then it operates within Polish Tourism Organisation. It promotes Poland as an attractive destination for meetings and business events. It is also the first contact for anyone seeking information on business partners and conference facilities, who is planning to organize association congress or a corporate event in Poland.
